Chrono Trigger, an old gem with a big heart!

Over Christmas break i played a few new games, but none of them compare to Chrono Trigger. Chrono Trigger is a game featuring a boy named chrono who is living in the momentous year 1000. it is the first millenia and in order to celebrate a fair is thrown, chrono friend Lucca is a child prodigy who can make anything mechanical come to life. She is the best mechanic in history. So when she creates a teleporter to be shown at the fair naturally her best friend chrono shows up. How ever things go haywaire when a girl named merryl disappears in the teleporter. a rift in time is created and chrono must jump through and use these new time warps called "gates" to save all humanity.

The game play is as smooth as butter, tight controls and a classic rpg make this 1980's NES classic come to life and give you the feeling you are right in the middle of the action. gamespot gives it an 8.5 saying " This perennial time-travel adventure is worth falling in love with all over again." if it were me grading the game i would give it a 9.5, every once in a while the battles get repetitive but over all this classic NES game was once a good game, and is now even better for newer generations to enjoy.
